Our Mission & How We Work
Manifest Creative is an artistry group and a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in the Bay Area. From art programs to production services, our mission is to find innovative ways to share artists work. Manifest Creative is a team of filmmakers, photographers, writers, and designers devoted to creating an outlet for Bay Area creatives to pursue their passion and bring their craft to greater heights. We strive to present the clearest explanation of social issues, contemporary thought, artistic appreciation and expression. We work with companies and local artists to translate ideas in a modern way that deliver value for our community. Through our services, your support keeps our art programs thriving.
Image + Wonder Art Program
Image + Wonder™ Art Program is being formed for young inspiring filmmakers and writers, to educate them in the art of storytelling. We plan to offer a dynamic and constantly-evolving program. Our focus is on film-making and creative writing. All applicants are required to submit an application. Students in the program move into an internship working on set with directors and cinematographers, exposing them to the meticulous detail the step-by-step process of making a movie and documentary. Students will showcase their work at Manifest Creative events and art shows. With learning and development, Manifest Creative will bring focus, resources, expertise to students career and professional development.
Our Theory of Change
The role of business is to deliver products and services in a way that will help you achieve your unfulfilled abilities and create work with purpose that draw on a diverse set of deeply rooted cultural traditions. Manifest Creative role is to catalyze change within business by integrating art and sustainable development into strategy and operations, and to promote collaboration among artists and companies to connect audiences to a profound sense of shared humanity.
MANIFEST POP-UP GALLERY & SCREENING EVENTS
Art for Social Responsibility Pop-Up Gallery
Art for Social Responsibility Pop-up Galleries host temporary exhibitions that showcase Bay Area photographers and cinematographers work. The art show aim to bring awareness to social causes: poverty and homelessness, the environment, political and cultural issues within inner cities. It has never been easy to find support for social reform photography, or to find outlets where it can be published. Many dedicated photographers still believe that if they can show hardship and injustice truthfully, fairly and forcefully, the humanity is so inherent that you can't help but feel it in the photographs.
Manifest Film Screening Events
Manifest Film Events focuses on bringing awareness to social change and cultural issues through storytelling and film.
We came up with the concept after recent studies showing the rise in depression. Depression can at times be under-identified, and misdiagnosed, especially in youth from under-represented ethnic and racial groups who live in urban environments. No matter what our setbacks are, whether it be depression to finding your purpose; we believe we all can be great. We want to create innovative ways for our community to overcome obstacles by sharing stories through film.
